This Saturday we’re really excited to welcome Barbara to to our fixing team, who can help people who have broken jewellery. So if you’ve got a necklace, bracelet or earrings in need of TLC, feel free to pop in and see if Barbara can show you how to fix it. (Please note that she doesn’t work with precious metals.)
Sadly, we haven’t got Vlad with us this month with his leather skills, but we have our regular team of fabric, electrical, computer, bikes and general fixes around, who are looking forward to sharing their skills and knowledge with those that come this month.
And we can’t believe that this is our 4th event since setting up, and we’ve already seen 110 items, of which 73 have been fixed! And most people who have been have said the experience has encouraged them to try and repair more thingswhich is amazing.
Please note that we’ll be taking a break in August, but will be back in again in September (15th).
